Our Animals
At Rutland Farm Park, we proudly showcase a diverse array of animals that each bring their own unique charm. Among the flock, you'll find Lincoln Longwools, known for their impressive wool, and the friendly Greyface Dartmoors. Our pigs, including the adorable Kune Kune and the distinctive Oxford Sandy and Black, add character and cheer to the farm. We also have lively Shetland ponies and gentle donkeys that delight visitors with their playful nature. The alpacas roam gracefully, while our geese and chickens add a lively atmosphere. For those who adore smaller animals, we have charming pygmy goats and Toggenburgs, as well as fluffy rabbits that enchant both young and old. Each animal plays a vital role in our farm's character, making it a vibrant and engaging place to explore and learn about farm life.
Alpacas
Alpacas are domesticated South American camelids, known for their soft fleece and gentle demeanor. They are social animals, often found in herds, and are prized for their wool.
Rabbits and Guinea Pigs
Our rabbits and guinea pigs are some of our smaller residents on the farm but also some of our friendliest. Keep an eye out for handling sessions during the holidays.
Rare Breeds

Gloucester Old Spot Pigs
The Gloucester Old Spot pig is a traditional English breed known for its distinctive appearance and exceptional meat quality. Lincoln Longwool Sheep
The Lincoln Longwool sheep is a distinctive breed known for its impressive long, lustrous fleece, which can reach lengths of up to 12 inches. Originating from England, this breed is prized for its strong, resilient wool, making it ideal for spinning and weaving. The sheep are large and robust, with a sturdy build and a calm temperament, making them well-suited for both commercial farming and hobbyists. Their unique appearance and valuable wool contribute to their popularity among sheep breeders.
